John Whaite Eurovision Swedish cinnamon swirl buns recipe on Lorraine

John Whaite served up delicious Eurovision Swedish cinnamon swirl buns on today’s episode of Lorrine.

The ingredients for the dough are: 250g plain flour, plus extra for dusting, 250g strong white bread flour, 5g salt, 10g caster sugar, 7g fast-action yeast, 150ml tepid water, 120ml milk, 1 large egg, 40g unsalted butter, at room temperature and flavourless oil, for greasing.

For the Filling: 125g unsalted butter, 100g dark brown muscovado sugar, Zest of 1 lemon and 2 tbsp ground cinnamon.

For the Topping: 100g icing sugar and Approximately 2 tsp lemon juice, add a splash extra if necessary.
