John Whaite’s shortbread biscuits with Royal icing recipe on Chopping Block

John Whaite served up delicious heart shaped shortbread biscuits with Royal glace icing on today’s episode of Chopping Block.

The ingredients are: 125 unsalted butter, 65g golden caster sugar and 200g plain flour.

For the icing: 1 egg white, 250g icing sugar, juice of 1 lemon and food colouring.
