John Whaite Pan-fried gnocchi with pistachio and goat’s cheese pesto recipe on Lorraine

John Whaite served up tasty pan-fried gnocchi with pistachio and goat’s cheese pesto on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients for the pesto: 200g unsalted, shelled pistachio nuts, 120ml extra virgin olive oil, 1 garlic clove, Handful fresh basil, plus extra to serve, 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint, Zest of 1 lemon and 50g soft goat’s cheese, plus extra to serve.

For the Gnocchi: 50g unsalted butter, 1 tsp olive oil and 500g pack potato gnocchi.
