James Martin waffles with smoked salmon recipe on Home Comforts at Christmas

James Martin served up waffles with smoked salmon and chives for a Christmas morning breakfast on Home Comforts at Christmas.

The ingredients are: 125g-150g butter, 250g plain flour, 425ml milk, 3 free-range eggs, 1½ tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 4 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives, 1 tbsp white wine vinegar, 4 duck eggs, 150g baby spinach leaves, 200g crème fraîche and 150g sliced smoked salmon, to serve.
