Brian Turner made a tasty split peas soup with Johnny cakes for Colin Jackson inspired by Colin’s mum’s Caribbean recipe on My Life on a Plate.

Brian designed his recipe to produced a dish that is full of nostalgia for the Olympic athlete as he reflect on his childhood growing up in the Welsh capital of Cardiff.
