Nadiya’s blueberry jam recipe for her naked blueberry jam and caraway crunch cake impressed Paul and Mary on The Great British Bake Off.

Her secret ingredient for her sugar free jam is basil seeds. Nadiya told Paul and Mary:

“When the seeds touch liquid the bloom, that then creates the jam like texture without all the sugar.”

Nadiya used the mixture to make the filling for her cake.
