This week the last five contestants will do battle in the penultimate week of the X Factor to see who’s vocals will grace the stage in the grand final.

Louis Walsh has confirmed that four acts will compete in the final. In previous years, three remaining hopefuls have gone head-to-head in a bid to be crowned the series winner.

However, speaking on RTÉ Radio One, Louis revealed that this week will only see one of the remaining five acts exit the competition.
Matt Cardle, Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson, Mary Byrne and One Direction will all compete in this weekend’s semi-final and will be singing two songs once again.

This week’s theme is club classis and a song of the contestants choice that they thing might get them through to the finals.
