Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud is expected to front the new series of The Xtra Factor on ITV 2.
The 28-year-old has been pencilled in to replace former host Holly Willoughby, 29, on The X Factor spin-off show.
If this move goes ahead, Bradford-born Kimberley, will be reunited with bandmate and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, 26.
A show source revealed: “It’s not 100 per cent yet but it’s looking more and more likely to happen. Kimberley has been on The X Factor before, helping Cheryl at the ‘Judges’ houses’ stage and Simon Cowell thought she was great.”
