Gino garlic mushrooms with oozing taleggio Cheese recipe on Let’s Do Lunch

Gino makes garlic mushrooms with oozing taleggio cheese on Let’s Do Lunch.

The ingredients are: 1 slice of ciabatta, 1 tbsp olive oil, 25g butter, 1 garlic clove sliced, 2 portabello mushrooms or 2 flat mushrooms, sliced, 2 thin slices taleggio cheese, 1 tbsp chives, chopped and Salt and pepper.

To prepare the dish, heat a griddle and frying pan on a high heat.

Brush the slice of ciabatta with olive oil, then griddle on both sides until golden brown.

Pour the remaining oil and butter into the frying pan. Fry the mushrooms and garlic until soft then season with salt and pepper and stir in the chives.

Gather the mushrooms together in a pile then top with the cheese. Leave for 30 seconds to melt slightly.

Place the pile of mushrooms on top of the toasted ciabatta and serve.
