Rosemary Shrager toad in the hole with caramelised onions recipe on Steph’s Packed Lunch

Rosemary Shrager served up a tasty toad in the hole with caramelised onions on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

The ingredients are: 8 good quality pork sausages , 6 tbsp rapeseed oil , 170g plain flour, Pinch of salt , Pinch of sugar , 3 very large eggs and 320g full fat milk, allow a little extra on the side.

For the caramelised onions: 3 large red onions, peeled and sliced , 2 tbsp rapeseed oil , 1 tbsp soft brown sugar , 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar , Salt and pepper.
