Mary Berry chocolate truffle dessert sponge cake with brandy/rum, ground almonds and a truffle mousse filling on Mary Berry: Cook and Share.

The ingredients for the sponge include: 5 egg yolks, 1 egg, 75g caster sugar, 150g ground almonds, 180g melted plain chocolate and 5 egg whites

For the truffle mousse filling: 180g plain chocolate,150ml sugar syrup, 3 egg yolks, Brandy or rum and whipped cream.

To finish: cocoa power, whipped cream and shop brought shuffle pieces.
