Nadiya Hussain Coffee Cake with Dalgona Coffee Cream Topping recipe on Nadiya’s Everyday Baking

Nadiya Hussain served up a delicious coffee cake with dalgona coffee cream topping on Nadiya’s Everyday Baking.

The ingredients are: 175g unsalted butter, softened, plus extra for greasing, 175g soft brown sugar, 3 medium eggs, 175g self-raising flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 2 tsp instant coffee and 1 tbsp hot water.

For the dalgona coffee cream: 2 tbsp coffee, 5 tbsp caster sugar, 5 tbsp boiling water and cocoa powder, for sprinkling.

  1. I really like Nadiya and the way she presents her shows, but what is failed to be mentioned is the fact that the cream honestly takes 25 minutes (could have done with more in actual fact) to whip.
    I gave up in the end and just put it in a bowl and we had a dollop of it with our lovely coffee cake.
    DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO WHIP IT BY HAND !!!!!
