Tonia Buxton served up a tasty slow cooked lamb with turmeric, garlic and parsley on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 5 tbsp olive oil, 2kg leg of lamb, 4 onions, finely sliced, 250g dried chopped dates, fresh dates if in season (optional), 1 bunch of finely chopped parsley, 4 tsp ground cumin, 4 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 head of Garlic, some finely sliced, leave some whole and ½ cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped.
To stuff the lamb: anchovies and garlic.
For the marinade: 250ml red wine, 3tbsp tomato purée, sumac, cumin, chopped sun-dried tomatoes and dates and 250ml water.
Cook for 4 hours.
To serve: Greek yoghurt, fresh parsley and crack wheat with tomatoes and onions.
