John Whaite dark chocolate silky tart recipe on Steph’s Packed Lunch

John Whaite served up a delicious dark chocolate silky tart to boost your mood on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

The ingredients for the pastry are: 130g plain flour, 20g cocoa powder, ½ tsp fine salt, 100g unsalted butter, cold, 45g whole milk and 5g vinegar.

For the filling: 150g dulce de leche (from a can), 125g milk chocolate, 125g dark chocolate, 50g unsalted butter, 2 large eggs and 30g dark muscovado sugar.

For the topping: 250ml double cream, 75g soured cream, 2 tbsp icing sugar, 1 tbsp rum and 30g chopped dark chocolate.
