John Torode and Lisa Faulkner ricotta doughnuts with chocolate sauce recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up delicious ricotta doughnuts with chocolate mocha sauce on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients for the ricotta balls are: 1 egg, 50g golden caster sugar, 150g ricotta, Zest of half a lemon, 75g plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 70g caster sugar, for rolling and Oil, for frying.

For the mocha sauce: A good spoonful of espresso powder, 100ml milk, 1 tbsp butter, 150ml double cream, 150g dark chocolate and Maple syrup.
