James Martin brown soda bread with buttermilk and smoked mackerel pate recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

James Martin served up tasty soda breads with brown flour, buttermilk and smoked mackerel pate on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 170g self raising brown flour, 170g plain flour, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda and 300ml buttermilk.

For the pate: 300g smoked mackerel, 1 lemon juice and zest, 50ml cream cheese or creme fraiche, Few chives chopped, Salt and pepper.

To serve: Lemon wedges.
