Gok Wan served up chilli and salt squid with oven chips to celebrate Chinese New Year on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 1 squid (fresh or frozen), cornflour, for dusting, 300ml sunflower oil, for frying, ⅛ teaspoon five spice powder, ⅛ teaspoon sugar, 1 pinch salt, 1 pinch black pepper, 1 pinch white pepper, 2 white onions, sliced , 3 garlic cloves, chopped, 1 red chilli and 2 spring onions, sliced.
