James Martin Calves Liver with Beer Sauce and Deep Fried Onions recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

James Martin served up calves liver with fighter pilot beer sauce, deep fried onion rings and mash potatoes on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 4 Calves liver, slices and 1 tbs plain flour.

For the sauce: 200ml ml Veal Stock, 100ml bitter, 1 tsp Sherry vinegar, 25g Butter, 2 Onion, sliced thinly and 1 tsbs veg oil.

For the mash potatoes: 300g Mashed potato, 50g butter, 50ml double cream and seasoning.

For the onion rings: 1 large onion peeled and sliced, 50g gluten free self-raising flour and 100ml bitter.
