Rav Gill showcased her delicious cinnamon coated churros with a banana butterscotch dipping sauce for today’s technical challenge on Junior Bake Off 2021.
The ingredients are: 75g unsalted butter, cubed, ¼ tsp salt, 95g plain flour, 2 eggs and ½ tsp vanilla extract.
For the coating: 100g caster sugar, 2 tbsp ground cinnamon and 25g unsalted butter, melted.
For the banana butterscotch: 60g unsalted butter, 100g light brown soft sugar, 60ml whole milk, 60ml double cream, Large pinch of flaky sea salt and 1 ripe banana, mashed.
