Nadiya Hussain vegan turmeric and ginger diamonds with tahini traybake recipe on Nadiya Bakes

Nadiya Hussain served up delicious vegan friendly Lebanese warm aromatic turmeric and ginger diamonds traybake with tahini on Nadiya Bakes.

The ingredients are: 80g light tahini, 375g plain flour, sifted, 300g caster sugar, 2 tsp ground ginger, 2 tsp ground turmeric, ½ tsp baking powder, 120ml good-quality olive oil, 350ml boiling water, 2 large chunks stem ginger, washed and very finely chopped, plus 4 tbsp syrup from the jar.

For the top: 1 tbsp sesame seeds and 1 tbsp pine nuts.
