Candice Brown ham hock and apple Scotch egg recipe on Ainsley’s Food We Love

Candice Brown served up a tasty ham hock and apple Scotch egg on Ainsley’s Food We Love.

The ingredients are: 4 eggs, 360g shredded cooked ham hock, 1 apple peeled, cored and chopped into small cubes, 1 small bunch of fresh sage finely chopped, 3 spring onions, finely sliced, 1-2 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp fried thyme, salt and pepper, 1 egg, 3 tbsp plain flour, 1 egg beaten with a splash of milk, 5 slices granary bread, 50g mixed seeds and rapeseed oil, for frying.
