John Torode autumn cottage pie with crispy potatoes recipe on This Morning

John Torode served up a tasty autumn cottage pie with crispy potatoes on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 2 large carrots, finely chopped, 4 sticks celery, finely chopped, 1 leeks, finely chopped, 2 medium onions, finely chopped, 2 cloves garlic, chopped, 1kg minced beef – not too fine or fatty , ½ bunch thyme, ½ bunch rosemary, 50g flour, 500ml beef stock, 250ml red wine, 2 bay leaves and Worcestershire sauce and brown sauce, to taste.

For the potato topping: 1kg potatoes, peeled and boiled , 20ml olive oil, Bunch of flat parsley, chopped , Salt and freshly ground black pepper.

To serve: Tomato ketchup.
