Nadiya Hussain mini pecan and cream pies recipe on Nadiya Bakes

Nadiya Hussain served up delicious fried pecan and clotted cream mini pies on Nadiya Bakes.

The ingredients for the pastry are: 550g plain flour, 1 tsp salt, 230g unsalted butter and 1 free-range egg and 1 free-range egg yolk, lightly beaten.

For the filling: 2 free-range eggs, plus 1 free-range egg, lightly beaten, for brushing, 50g soft light brown sugar, 150g unsalted butter, softened, 3 tbsp plain flour, 1 tbsp full-fat milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 200g pecan nuts, roughly chopped, 227g tub clotted cream, vegetable oil, for frying and salt.
