Mary Berry served up a delicious citron tart with a lemon posset filling and sweet raspberries on Mary Berry’s Simple Comforts.
The ingredients for the pastry are: 175g plain flour, plus extra for dusting, 75g cold butter, cubed, 1 tbsp icing sugar, plus extra for dusting and 1 free-range egg, beaten.
For the lemon posset filling: 600ml double cream and 150g caster sugar, 3 lemons, finely grated zest and juice.
To serve: 250g raspberries and pouring cream (optional).
