Phil Vickery served up delicious brown bread ice cream with hot cross buns from his Food Factory on This Morning.
The ingredients for the eggy bread: 2 large eggs, 1 tbsp caster sugar, 1 tbsp single cream, 2 hot cross buns, cut in half and Butter, to fry.
For the hot cross buns: 4 hot cross buns and 4 tbsp brown sugar.
For the ice cream: 275g caster sugar, 150ml cold water, 8 egg yolks, 600ml very lightly whipped double cream and 2 tsp vanilla extract.
To serve: Hot cross bun ice cream and Icing sugar, to dust.
