John Torode pork stew with pork chops and dumplings recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up a tasty pork stew with pork chops and dumplings on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 50ml olive oil, 4 bone-in pork chops (Approx 4 cm thick) – fat scored deeply, Salt and black ground pepper, 100g smoked chorizo, cubed, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 large white onion, sliced, 100ml dry red wine, 400g tin chopped tomatoes, 200ml stock of choice or water and 400g tin kidney beans, drained.

For the dumplings: 75g chopped suet, 200g plain flour, 10g baking powder, 12g butter, Bunch of chopped fresh parsley & coriander, 125ml water, room temperature.
