John Torode chicken stew with dumplings recipe on This Morning

John Torode served up a tasty chicken stew with suet dumplings on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 8 chicken thighs, skinless with bone in, 2 tbsp plain flour, 70ml vegetable oil, 225g button onions, peeled, or 2- 3 medium onions, peeled and cut into 8, 170g smoked bacon, 2 garlic cloves, crushed, 200g flat mushrooms, sliced, 2 large carrots, peeled and cut into hunks, 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced, 2 bay leaves, 1 ½ tbsp redcurrant jelly, 250ml red wine, 200ml chicken stock, salt and pepper, Lots of parsley and Mustard.

For the dumplings: 100g suet, 250g self-raising flour and 100ml warm water.
