Nigel Slater creamed rice pudding with apricots and rose petals recipe

Nigel Slater served up a delicious creamed rice pudding with apricots, pistachios and rose petals on Nigel Slater’s Middle East.

The ingredients are: 150g pudding rice, 250ml double cream, 250ml full-fat milk, 2 tbsp golden caster sugar, 1 vanilla pod, split, 16 dried apricots, 1 cinnamon stick, ½ unwaxed lemon, 2 tsp rosewater, 2 tsp orange blossom water, 50g shelled pistachios, roughly chopped and 2 tbsp food-grade rose petals.
