Nigel Barden’s Chorizo Sausage and Butter Bean with red wine tagine recipe on Radio 2 Drivetime

Nigel Barden served up a tasty Spanish Chorizo sausage and butter bean with red wine tagine using store cupboard ingredients on Radio 2 Drivetime.

The ingredients are: 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 onion, finely chopped, 2 garlic cloves, crushed, 75g chorizo sausage, skin removed and cut into 1cm slices, 100ml red wine, 400g tin chopped tomatoes, 1 red onion, cut into thin slices, 400g tin butter beans, drained, 1 tsp dried mixed herbs, A few fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, 2 tbsp of finely, freshly grated Parmesan cheese and Warm crusty bread, to serve.
