Simon, Josh, Fernando, Robert, James, Elly cook for survival on the new series of MasterChef: The Professionals 2016 UK.

The six professional chefs are all hoping to impress Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Gregg Wallace with their cooking skills in order to book their place in the next round.

The first task for Simon, Josh and Fernando is to impress making a steak Diane, while Robert, James and Elly must impress serving up a pistachio and raspberry tart with chocolate creme Anglaise dessert for their skills test.

Finally, all six chefs must showcase their creativity by presenting their own signature dish before half the group are sent home with only the best three chefs progressing to the next round.
