Dean Edwards meatballs with potatoes and onion gravy recipe on Lorraine

Dean Edwards served up tasty meatballs with crushed potatoes and onion gravy for a mid week meal for under a fiver on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients: 8 good quality pork and apple sausages, skinned, Few sprigs fresh thyme leaves, picked and 40g breadcrumbs.

Onion Gravy: 1 large onion, finely sliced, 2 cloves garlic, crushed, 1 tbsp plain flour, 300ml dry cider, 300ml chicken stock and 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves.

Crushed potatoes: 800g potatoes, skins on and cubed.
