Kimberley Walsh has reportedly joined the team on this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The Girls Aloud star is said to be happy to be joining the popular BBC show and will be included in the lineup when the series launches next month.
Insiders say that she was keen to take part in the show from her first meeting with channel bosses and one source told The Mirror:
“When we heard she was interested we were thrilled.
“Now everyone’s dying to see her moves. She’s a great name to have got.”
Kimberley however, is no stranger to reality TV because it was a reality TV show that launched her career back in 2002. She has also previously worked on The X Factor with her bandmate and former judge Cheryl Cole. Kimberley also has plenty of dance experience, having performed dozen of routines during her time with Girls Aloud and then on the West End, when she took on the role of Princess Fiona in Shrek last year.
