17-year-old Jessica Hammond had a tough decision to make at her audition on The Voice UK having to choose between four superstars.
The teenager in the end opted to join Jessie J’s team to continue on her journey in the competition.
The former X Factor contestant had revealed to hosts Holly and Reggie before her audition how she had been scared to perform outside of her bedroom after being bullied at school.
Jessica went on to sing an acoustic performance of Jessie’s track Price Tag for the coaches in this evening’s first blind audition episode.
But surprisingly it was Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am who was first to turn around, followed by Jessie, Danny and finally Tom.
It left Jessica with the tough decision to pick one of the four coaches to join for the rest of the series.
But before she made it, Will.i.am was quick to start dropping names, saying he wanted to work with her like he has done with Michael Jackson.
Jessie meanwhile told her: “You don’t know how amazing it is for me to sit here and have someone sing one of my songs.”
Sir Tom added: “This show is called The Voice, and I feel I can help you pick the right songs to help you win this thing.”
Danny said: “I understand guitar playing and feel we can working incredibly together.”
Making her decision, Jessica said: “Will, although I appreciate everything you say, number one hits don’t matter to make. Making music is what matters, and I’m going to go with Jessie.”
