McFly Drummer Harry Judd has been crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2011, in a tense final alongside Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey.

Harry and Chelsee were announced as the final two earlier in the evening, after Jason Donovan was revealed to have polled the lowest amount of public votes and was eliminated in third place.

The pair were then asked to perform two more times, before the final result was announced.

Speaking to host Bruce Forsyth after the announcement, Harry said: “All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported Aliona and I. I have had the most incredible experience, I’ve been on the best show on TV and I’m honoured.”

“I didn’t think I’d be able to do and Aliona’s got me through it!”
