Dougie Poynter has been crowned king of the jungle in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2011.

The McFly base guitarist beat his close friend Mark Wright to the title of King Of The Jungle.

The finalists came into a tight embrace as the result was announced, after which Poynter took his seat on the throne and was handed his crown by I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Now! Hosts Joe Swash and Laura Whitmore..

Speaking to presenters Ant and Dec after his win, Poynter said: “I’m lost for words. It’s been the best couple of weeks of my life, I wish everyone in the world could experience that.”

Poynter was reunited with his one of his McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher who flew out to support him.
