Strictly Come Dancing 2011 said goodbye to Nancy Dell’Olio on last nights show. After her Halloween performance yesterday, mainly for all the wrong reasons, the public decide it was time for the lawyer to leave the competition.
The judges awarded Nancy and professional partner Anton Du Beke just 14 points for their Rumba.
She was joined in the bottom alongside Audley Harrison and his professional partner Natalie Lowe after yesterday’s fifth dance.
Speaking about her time on the show, Nancy told hosts Tess and Claudia: “I will miss many moments, of course. It has been such a full on experience. I am going to go back to the rest of my life, but of course I’m going to miss a lot of it.
“I’ve had a lot of fun, it’s been an incredible experience. It has given to me quite a lot, meeting incredible people, and learning dancing… partly! I’m definitely going to keep dancing, because it is fantastic exercise, not only physically but for the mind, for everything, so I definitely will.”
Anton added, “I tell you what I’m going to miss the most. I’m just going to miss Nancy. [to Nancy] I’m going to miss you. You are a superstar. You are absolutely lovely. I have had the most lovely time.”
