The X Factor 2010: Cheryl Cole Dubbed Katie Wassel A ‘Drama Queen’

24 year old former reality TV  star Katie Waissel may have blown her changes of making it to the live finals  after leaving a negative impression with Cherly cole and

Katie Waissel

Speaking to  Cheryl and Will before her performance, Katie said :

“I want to be a legacy. I’m not sure what type of idol I am as there isn’t anyone out there in the market like me right now. I don’t think there ever has been. I want to be a star in music, film, fashion, arts, medicine, everything. At the forefront of my mind is to go out there, focus and nail the song. I will be a star. I will do this. I will not take no for an answer.”

The husky voiced singer then started to sing Lily Allen’s ‘Smile’ for the pair but then suddenly she started to cry.

She said to Cheryl:

“I’m so sorry, it’s an emotional song for me and this is my last shot for you guys so can I just take a breath, I’m sorry.”

She started again and though this time she managed to sing the whole thing, we didn’t love the rendition at all.

As she left the room, Cheryl told

” I think she’s one of those people that will divide opinions. So you will love her or hate her, but at least you’ll have an opinion on her. She’s a drama queen”

It will be interesting to see what happens tonight in the results show.

  1. Katie is a amazing singer and she is the next popstar in our eyes and she has song her best on the X-Factor. She was always positive, always sang the correct words to the songs and she held her tears back when ever she always sang. She’s the best X-Factor singer in the series and she deserved to win, but the public voted her out and she will always stay in our hearts, her singing will always be the best. Good Luck Katie you well deserve eveything you receive. James x
