Pop sensation Natalie Imbruliga was not ‘Torn’ when she made her debut X Factor appearance as a guest judge at the Birmingham auditions.
Natalie, is one of the guest judges in the season standing in for Dannii Minogue who is expecting her first child. Natalie said she keeps is touch with Dannii and will feedback all the gossip to her and report back on any exceptional talents discovered during the auditions.
However, it looks as though the main talking point with Dannii will not be about talent, but about the talentless in the shape of Abbey and Lisa. Abbey and Lisa are best friends but they came to blows when they auditioned in front of Natalie and her fellow judges.
The youngsters from Leamington Spa in the West Midlands took to the stage and an excited Lisa screamed: “Oh my god it’s Louis. Oh my god it’s Cheryl.”
She immediately offended Louis Walsh by saying: “She (Abbey) was saying you were really fit earlier Louis. And I said he’s an old man, sorry! I said you could be the same age as my granddad.”
Simon looked unimpressed and asked: “Why did you decide to do this?”
Lisa said: “Basically we kind of just randomly sing with each other.”
As the audience booed, Lisa shouted: “Shut up!” The furious girls then stormed off.
Once they had calmed down, they returned and performed an out of time rendition of Shayne Ward’s That’s My Goal.
They didn’t exactly score and Simon said: “You have the worst attitude of any contestants I have ever met on any of these shows.”
Lisa then managed to offend guest judge Natalie Imbruglia by saying: “Who are you may I ask?”
That was the final straw that broke the camel’s back.
In a moment of madness, Abbey was so angry at Lisa’s reaction to the audience and judges, she punched her friend in full view of the horrified crowds – a first in the show’s history.
Those two seem to have an interesting way of making a guest judge feel welcomed. Check out the clip here.
