Phoenix Bakery based in Dorset impressed the Britain’s Best Bakery judges with their specialty bake – Black Garlic Scape Sourdough bread.
This Artisan Bakery makes bakes and serves award winning, fresh and organic hand-made breads, pastries, cakes and savouries. Employing only the sourdough method of baking with wild yeast from the air and using the best organic flour, the Phoenix bakers have produced a winning recipe with their Black Garlic Scape Sourdough bread.
The bakers also performed well with their Wild Card and Bakers Dozen challenges on the show to be crowned winners on the day and went through to the next round.
