{"id":4453,"date":"2011-04-03T14:45:16","date_gmt":"2011-04-03T13:45:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=4453"},"modified":"2011-04-03T18:45:28","modified_gmt":"2011-04-03T17:45:28","slug":"charlie-wheeler-wowed-on-so-you-think-you-can-dance-second-additions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/4453\/charlie-wheeler-wowed-on-so-you-think-you-can-dance-second-additions\/","title":{"rendered":"Charlie Wheeler Wowed on So You Think You can Dance Second Additions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Charlie Wheeler\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/images\/uk\/realitytvspy\/thinkyoucandance\/charlie03.JPG\" alt=\"Charlie Wheeler\" width=\"268\" height=\"218\" \/><\/p>\n<p>18 year old Charlie Wheeler from Southampton wowed the judges on <em>So You Think You Can Dance<\/em> with his unique blend of contortion and breakdance moves.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie was first to perform on the night and before he took to the stage the flexible lad from Southampton gave Cat Deeley an example of some of his moves before going before the judges.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie\u2019s audition piece was phenomenal; at times you want to look away &#8211; thinking he his about to injure himself &#8211; but at the same time you could not take your eyes off him. The judges were simply in awe of his talent. He secured a golden ticket handed to him by \u00a0Nigel Lythgoe, putting him straight through to the dance boot camp.<br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* auditions 300x250, created 9\/6\/10 *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"7469702309\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Charlie Wheeler\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/images\/uk\/realitytvspy\/thinkyoucandance\/charlie02.JPG\" alt=\"Charlie Wheeler\" width=\"626\" height=\"346\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>This is what the judges had to say about Charlie:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nigel Lythgoe<\/strong>: You are so unique, young man. I mean it\u2019s ridiculous what you\u2019re doing. It\u2019s exciting to watch. It\u2019s taken your breath away, hasn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p>Arlene Phillips: It has. Right now I think what you do is kind of special. And seeing somebody who looks like a little bouncing bright bubbly kid do it, it adds like the cherry and the cream on the top of the cake.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Louise Redknapp:<\/strong> It was extremely intriguing. There were parts where I couldn\u2019t watch you and parts where I didn\u2019t want to take my eyes off you. And actually, now and again you did a little dance move that actually worked.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sisco Gomez:<\/strong> I think it was clear to me that you needed to go back to some classes. Your forte is definitely the contortion and the tricks. But saying that, I think that\u2019s why you\u2019ve come here. If you carry on the way you are mate, you\u2019re gonna be a legend in the circus world, definitely. You are unique, you have a unique character, you bring a personality to your solo.
