{"id":2292,"date":"2010-11-04T20:12:39","date_gmt":"2010-11-04T19:12:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=2292"},"modified":"2010-11-04T20:12:39","modified_gmt":"2010-11-04T19:12:39","slug":"the-x-factor-a-cold-and-frosty-reception-for-jamiroquai-on-the-x-factor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/2292\/the-x-factor-a-cold-and-frosty-reception-for-jamiroquai-on-the-x-factor\/","title":{"rendered":"The X Factor: A Cold and Frosty Reception for Jamiroquai on The X Factor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Sunday night\u2019s results show the judges gave the coldest reception to an established act ever seen on The X Factor.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Jay Kay\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/images\/uk\/x2010\/guests\/jk2.JPG\" alt=\"Jay Kay\" width=\"285\" height=\"451\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Making their X Factor debut,\u00a0 Jamiroquai performed their latest single \u2018White Knuckle Ride\u2019 but when they completed their performance the judges &#8211; Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue in particular &#8211; were far from impressed as the pair refusing to clap, let alone give the customary standing ovation normally given to established artist that appear on the show.<\/p>\n<p>This reaction was apparently bought about as a result of \u00a0the band\u2019s front man \u2013 Jay Kay \u2013 interview with <em>The Sun <\/em>newspaper saying he wasn\u2019t \u00a0keen on performing on the programme or in front of the judges.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>The Sun<\/em>, the singer launched into a foul mouthed rant on Saturday, branding Cheryl and Dannii \u201cf***ing useless\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cWhat are they going to tell me about f****** music?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat the f***. When have you ever done anything? You\u2019re useless. The pair of you. I mean you look great and I\u2019d like to f****** s**g you but that\u2019s all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jay Kay continued: \u201cI just don\u2019t like the w**** stuff I have to do. F****** X Factor and that. I\u2019m going to have to sing in front of f****** amateurs.
