{"id":13204,"date":"2014-02-20T16:24:38","date_gmt":"2014-02-20T15:24:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=13204"},"modified":"2014-02-20T19:34:12","modified_gmt":"2014-02-20T18:34:12","slug":"penne-pasta-carbonara-on-james-martin-home-comforts-home-cooking-in-a-hurry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/13204\/penne-pasta-carbonara-on-james-martin-home-comforts-home-cooking-in-a-hurry\/","title":{"rendered":"Penne pasta carbonara on James Martin: Home Comforts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pasta is on the menu on James Martin: Home Comforts Home Cooking In a Hurry today. <\/p>\n<p>James says: \u201cMy recipe for a classic carbonara uses fresh penne, but dried spaghetti also works well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For his ingredients James used : 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 300g pancetta, 3 free-range egg yolks, 50g parmesan, grated, plus extra for serving, 100ml double cream, salt and freshly ground black pepper, 350g fresh penne pasta and 3 tbsp chopped fresh flatleaf parsley.<\/p>\n<p>To make the dish, heat a frying pan until hot. Add the olive oil and pancetta and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until crisp.<br \/>\nRemove the pancetta from the pan and set aside to drain on kitchen paper.<\/p>\n<p>Whisk the egg yolks, parmesan and cream in a bowl and season, to taste, with salt and freshly ground black pepper.<br \/>\nCook the penne according to pack instructions in a pan of salted boiling water.<\/p>\n<p>Drain the pasta and add it to the cream mixture, stirring continuously until smooth.
