Cheryl Cole was born Cheryl Tweedy June 30, 1983 and raised in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Cheryl first came to the public attention when she auditioned for a place in a girl band to be created by the ITV reality television show PopStars The Rivals in 2000.
