Max Milner opened the fourth live Voice UK show tonight with KT Tunsstall’s Black Horse and The Cherry Tree.

Max’s coach Danny said: “You were in the bottom two last week and I felt that you came out and smashed it, Max, it was amazing.”

Jessie said: “It could have easily gone wrong but didn’t. It was nice to see you go back to what we saw in the blind auditions, but the song choice was too similar to someone who’s already doing this very well. I felt you and Danny could’ve spun it.”

Will.i.am said: “I feel good! It was a great performance, but the song selection probably wasn’t the smartest.”

Sir Tom added: “As far as I’m concerned, Max entertained me, I loved it. As an artist, it’s easier to take the path you know, but sometimes you have to go off-road, and Max went off-road tonight, in a good way, so I loved it.”
