David Julian impressed on The Voice UK tonight and joined The Script front man Danny O’Donoghue’s team.

The singer quit his job to audition for the show, taking a risk to perform The Script track The Man Who Can’t Be Moved.

O’Donoghue told David: “When I heard it I heard the same heart and emotion that was there when I wrote it. I’m here to work with people and be creative with people.”

Meanwhile Sir Tom Jones said: “I didn’t press my button because I thought you were a girl and I’ve got enough girls on my team! If I had known you were a bloke I’d have pressed it”

will.i.am added:” I pressed my button because you have a butter voice, you also have room to grow and become a mega-mega artist.”

David then decided to choose: “I think I’m going to go with Danny.”
