Heshima Thompson joined Team Will.i.am on The Voice UK, after a brilliant audition impressing all four judges.

Heshima, who has previously appeared as a backing singer to Amy Winehouse, had made it to the bootcamp stages of The X Factor in 2009 and 2011.

Trying his luck on The Voice UK this year, the singer performed a unique take on Taio Cruz track Dynamite that saw all four judges turn around.

Danny told him after being the first to turn around: “That one hell of a performance, I would kill to have you on my tem.”

Will.i.am added: “You’re amazing,” while Jessie J simply shouted: “PICK ME!”

Sir Tom Jones said: “You have it, you have the whole thing. If you’re looking for longevity, you gotta be with me.”

It was then down to Heshima to decide which of the four to choose.

He said: “Ummm this is such an important decision.. but I’m going to go for… Will!”
