In this the semi finals task, the remaining Young Apprentice candidates get a shock from Lord Sugar as the boss himself turns up at the house to brief the group on this weekend’s task… and an unexpected twist.

From the six candidates still in the competition, only two will make it through to the final.

The losing team in this task will automatically be booted out, while even the winning team is not safe, with only the top two candidates progressing. Lord Sugar remarks: “It is tough but that’s life.”

To be in with a shot of the £25,000 prize, the candidates will have to work together in their teams to design and pitch a new brand of popcorn.
