One Direction have signed a marketing deal with Nintendo to promote Pokemon Black & White, it has been revealed.

The X Factor finalists will promote the DS game in a series of television adverts from Monday, April 11, according to MCV.

The group will also act as brand ambassadors for the title, attending special events and making public appearances to promote the game.

Earlier today the group discussed the game console on the Alam Titchmarsh show.
