Cheryl Cole was praised for her charity work in the U.K. by the Prince Of Wales at a London awards ceremony this week.

The X Factor Judge helped hand out the honours at the Prince’s Trust Celebrate Success Awards, which recognises young people who have overcome difficulties.

It was recently revealed that the Cole is launching her own charity, ‘The Cheryl Cole Foundation’, in association with the Prince’s Trust, to help troubled youngsters in her native North East England.

Prince Charles says, “She has used the Prince’s Trust to put into effect what she is doing in the North East to help turn people’s lives around.”
