John Torode cooked a tasty duck with plum sauce served with pak choi, spring onions and bean sprouts to mark the Chinese new year on This Morning.
The ingredients for the plum sauce: 2 tins of plums, drained, 1 shallot, peeled and diced, 10ml vegetable oil, A thumb of ginger (grated), 1 clove of garlic, crushed, 60ml white vinegar, Spices: Pinch of each black pepper, cinnamon and cloves, 1tsp Chinese five spice and ½ tsp sugar.
For the duck: 4 duck breasts, trimmed, 80g self-raising flour, 2 tsp of black peppercorns, 2 tsp salt flakes and 150ml vegetable oil.
